Picked up from Cappadocia hotels at 09:30 am for Full Day tour of Ihlara Valley and Derinkuyu Underground City.

You will meet with your tour guide and other members of the tour then start to tour by visiting Derinkuyu Underground City to explore the huge refugee settlement carved by early Christians, where they could hide from persecutors. It is the largest one in the area with its 7 levels and 65 meters depth. The air-condition chimneys and defence systems used in these caves will surprise you during your visit. After visiting Derinkuyu Underground City continue to the beautiful valley of Ihlara , which was formed after the volcanic erosions and eroded by rain. This canyon was settled by Christians for 500 years between 5th and 10th century. We will have a lunch in locla restaurant. Also explore the famous rock –cut churches and hike 4 km through the valley. On the way back visit the monasteries in Selime Village and Agzikarahan Caravanserai which is one of the caravanseraies that were built by Selcuk Turk’s in 13th century on the silk road.

17:00 pm – After the tour, you will be dropped off at your hotel.

We pick you up from your hotel and transfer to meeting point. When all passengers come together we will start tour and frist place to visit will be Derinkuyu underground city. Then we will continue on Ihlara Valley, Selime Village, Agzikarahan Caravanserai. after we finish the tour you will be transfered to your hotel.
